Contact us1. What we collect
The game. Ruby Square stores your level progress, move counts and settings on your device. If you sign in to Google Play Games, that progress syncs through Google's snapshot system to your other devices. Anonymous crash diagnostics (device model, OS version, crash stack) are collected through Google Play services.
This website. When you send a message through the contact form, we receive the fields you filled in — name, email, message, topic. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address. The site uses a functional cookie to remember your cookie choice (see the cookie policy).
What we never collect: your contacts, your photos, your location, other apps on your device, or any advertising profile.
2. Why we collect it
- Progress and move counts — required for the game to function and to compute world averages.
- Crash diagnostics — to find and fix bugs on specific devices.
- Contact form data — to reply to you. It's never used for marketing unless you separately subscribe.
- Newsletter emails — to send The Ruby Memo, monthly, until you unsubscribe.
3. Third parties
We share nothing for advertising. The only processors involved are: Google Play / Google Play Games (distribution, billing, sync, crash reports — under Google's privacy policy), and our email provider for transactional messages (contact replies, gift deliveries). Both process data under their own documented policies; no data is sold, rented or profiled.
4. Your rights & deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise: email [email protected] with 'data deletion' or 'data access' in the subject. We verify identity via the requesting email address and complete deletions within 30 days — including portal records, newsletter subscriptions and any support correspondence.
In-game progress can be deleted locally by uninstalling; cloud-synced copies can be cleared through Google Play Games settings or via the same request. Note that deletion of progress is irreversible.
